Conor & Karen
The owners
Conor Joyce and Karen Muldowney moved from Dublin to North London and opened up on Junction Road in Archway, bringing hearty Irish food to the neighbourhood. The room is small, the welcome is warm, and there’s usually a regular at the counter who’ll tell you what to order.
“It’s a lovely place for people because all our customers end up speaking to each other.”
The vibe
Gourmet jackets, guilt-free
Big jackets, gourmet fillings, and proper service. Locally sourced where we can, homemade where it matters. A satisfying meal you can feel good about.
What we cook
Homemade, every day
Brought from Ireland
Kelly’s black and white pudding, Irish sausages, rashers, McDonnells curry sauce and Barry’s Tea, brought over from Ireland so the breakfast tastes like home.
Made in-house
Chilli con carne, vegan chilli, coleslaw, sauces and the daily special. Big jackets, slow-baked, butter-finished. Vegan options across every section of the menu.
The room
A taste of home in Archway
The shop at 167 Junction Road keeps it simple: the counter, the all-day breakfast, the regulars, and a menu built around the jacket potato. You’ll find the daily special on the in-shop board and on our socials.
We’re an independent, family-run shop. If you’ve had a meal you loved (or if something wasn’t right), tell us. Conor or Karen will almost always be the ones behind the counter.
